Dilip Gaonkar (PhD Pittsburgh), Associate Professor. Teaches courses in rhetorical theory and cultural studies. Co-Director of the Center for Transcultural Studies, a Chicago-based international network of scholars and cultural practitioners. Associate editor of Public Culture. Main research interests: rhetoric and the human sciences; the relationship between rhetoric and literary/cultural theory; and, globalization of culture and communication.
