Registration Information
All dance courses, Technique and Academic, are now being wait listed during Pre-registration week on CAESAR. All students (majors and non-majors) must wait list the dance courses they wish to take on CAESAR in order to receive department consent to enroll.
Wait listing* on CAESAR is simply a method of generating permission lists prior to Registration Week. In order to be placed on a wait list students must participate in pre-registration during their appointment time on CAESAR.Please note that all of the dance courses will appear closed while wait listing during pre-registration.
Once the wait list closes at the end of pre-registration the Dance Program will assign the open slots based on major, class and order of request.
Students will then receive an email from the Dance Program during Registration week with permission to enroll.This does not require a permission number, but does require the student to log back into CAESAR and register for the course. If students do not receive an email from the Dance Program the class has been filled.
*Wait listing and pre-registration are two different things. CAESAR allows for up to 2.5 units of credit under the wait list option as well as up to 2.99 units of credit during pre-registration.
