Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders
The Roxelyn and Richard Pepper Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is the home of undergraduate, professional, and research doctoral programs in the scientific basis of human communication, learning, and communication disorders. In a curriculum of over 100 courses, or working alongside leading researchers and expert clinicians, students pursue interests in underlying processes of speech, language, hearing and learning and their disorders.
With a long tradition of excellence, the department's professional audiology and speech and language pathology programs are consistently ranked among the top five programs in the nation (US News & World Report).
