Evanston and Chicago Audiology Services:  The Audiologists

Services at Northwestern audiology facilities are conducted by audiologists holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, as well as a Master's, AuD, or PhD degree in Audiology. Each audiologist is licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Professional Regulation. Students in the Northwestern Doctor of Audiology Program may also be involved in evaluation and treatment at these facilities.

 

Rebecca Field, AuD, CCC-A, Evanston Audiology Service
Rebecca Field earned her Bachelors Degree in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, and her Masters Degree in Audiology from Rush University in Chicago. She recently completed her Doctor of Audiology degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. She began working at Northwestern in 1999. She is particularly interested in adult audiological rehabilitation, hearing aids and enjoys working with students in their clinical practica.

Tracy Hagan, MA, Evanston Audiology Service

Lowery Mayo, AuD, CCC-A, Evanston Audiology Service
Lowery Ann Mayo received her Bachelor’s and Master of Arts in Audiology from Northwestern University. She earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida. Dr. Mayo's areas of interest are rehabilitation with hearing aids, vestibular evaluation and tinnitus management.

 

 

Diane Novak, MS, CCC-A, Evanston Audiology Service
Diane Novak received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Science and Disorders from the University of Toledo and her Master of Science degree in Audiology at Gallaudet University.  Diane has been an audiologist at Northwestern since 1998. She is currently the Clinical Education Coordinator, working as a liaison with the off campus practicum supervisors and supervising students. Diane enjoys all areas of Audiology with a special interest in hearing aids and rehabilitation.
