Advisory Boards
Three advisory boards assist the School with advice about program priorities and plans. These are the National Advisory Council, the Alumni Board, and the Dean's Advisory Council.
The National Advisory Council consists of alumni and friends of the School who are in a position to advise the Dean about the impact of external forces and funding on the School's programs. Membership is by invitation from the Dean, and members serve renewable three-year terms. The Council meets once each year in Evanston for a major review of the School, and holds additional meetings at its discretion. Current members of the National Advisory Council are:

The Alumni Board consists of Chicago-area alumni who assist the School in counseling and mentoring undergraduate students about careers in communication and the performing arts. Membership is by invitation from the Dean, and members serve renewable terms. The Board meets once each quarter during the academic year and holds additional meetings as they are needed.
The Dean's Advisory Council consists of twenty undergraduate students currently enrolled in the School (four from each department, representing the freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior classes). Students are selected from among nominations generated by students, faculty, and staff. The DAC meets once each quarter and holds additional meetings as they are needed.
